The best way to play in any of the above courses is to get a friend who is a member to check you in. You will save a few bucks being a member’s guest. Most of the clubs also allows walk-in non-members, but typically you have to pay a premium and the playing slots are limited to weekday golf only.

If you are new to Singapore or new to golf and have no private club membership, the best place to golf is to go to Marina Bay Golf Course, which is strategically located in the heart of the city, overseeing the city skyline. This is Singapore one and only 18-hole public course. One of the key characteristics of this18 holes, par 72 championship golf course is its 91 challenging and deep pot bunkers. These bunkers not only serve as one of our dramatic features, they also require the player to think their way around the golf course with proper shot selection and execution.

To play in this club, you need to hold a valid handicap card. For those without the card need not worry as well. Just make sure you are able to fly your golf balls using 7 irons, wedges and drivers. Take a golf proficiency test before your tee time and once the tester is convinced that you can play, you will receive an interim card which is valid for 1 month. Visitors can also rent a set of clubs from the in house pro-shop.
